From November 23 to December 28, the Rocca di Ravaldino opens to the public with a historic and immersive atmosphere, enhanced by the splendid setting of the city.
The program includes 5 days of EXPERIENCE in ROCCA, events that combine culture, entertainment, historical reenactments, and local food and wine. Each event revolves around a theme related to the history of the Rocca, with shows, storytelling, crafts, and cuisine.
The events take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with free admission.
Workshops and tastings are by reservation; other activities are free to attend.

‘Medieval crafts and weapons’
Reenactors in historical costumes, interior staging of the Rocca, archery area, historical market and crafts with reenactors for educational activities and public entertainment, historical and modern fencing arena, public involvement in educational activities for adults and children.
“Storytelling: from grapes to wine”
A narrative journey that recounts the magic of winemaking, tastings of typical products.

Session 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – 30 people

“Medieval crafts and weapons”
Reenactors in historical costumes, interior displays in the fortress, archery area, historical market and crafts with reenactors for educational activities and public entertainment, historical and modern fencing arena, public participation in educational activities for adults and children.
“Bread and cereals”
Show cooking and guided tasting experience dedicated to the history of ancient cereals, flours, and natural leavening, with tasting of typical products.

Session 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – 30 people
“The perfume workshop”:
Sensory workshop dedicated to essential oils and the ancient art of natural perfumes.

Saturday, December 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Show cooking and guided tasting experience dedicated to forgotten fruits and their historical, botanical, and nutritional importance.

“Illuminated manuscripts”
Workshop exploring the ancient art of medieval miniatures, learning how manuscripts were decorated in the past, in a world of bright colors, mysterious symbols, and precious decorations.

“Local producers' market”
Organization and setting up of a market to promote the territory and its excellence, where local producers will present and talk about their products.
“Sensory exhibition”
An immersive journey dedicated to the world of food and typical products, where the senses take center stage.
“Stories of shields and courage”
A creative and adventurous workshop that takes adults and children into the world of knights and their coats of arms.

A narrative experience and guided tasting dedicated to the world of olive growing and extra virgin olive oil production.

Session 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – 25 people
“Winter Crowns”
Creative workshop where children and families can become queens and kings of winter by making their own crowns using natural materials.
